Dave, It would take someone better than myself to be able to claim never to have derided the dress sense of a woman: "mutton dressed as lamb" "She shouldn't wear stripes" etc. As for the other quotes from the Spectator, if you need to go back to 2002 to find something suitably offensive, is it possible he has refined his language in the meantime?
