Thanks so far. I tend to play the tune note ( I'm quite good at picking out tunes from music or ear)) as the top note and try to put a chord note in below - I can often only manage one. ( mandolin/fiddle/Uke) If I play G as the tune note ( ain't mis BEHAVEN ) I could reach a C sharp or an E on the uke. Is one better than the other to make it more authentic jazz? Sorry to ask such basic questions but I am way out of my comfort zone. FloraG
