A heads up for those who might be interested. At 11.pm tonight on BBC4 Andras Schiff plays JS Bach. The TV Listing bumf says; The two volumes of Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier are a window on to an extraordinary musical imagination - an infinitely varied, beguiling series of musical reflections and questions. Much more than just a musical sequel, this volume pushes harmony and counterpoint further than ever before in its fascinating and uniquely challenging sequence of works. Following his complete performance of Book 1 last year, distinguished pianist and Bach specialist Andras Schiff returns to the Royal Albert Hall to perform the complete Book 2 I'll be the wrong side of a bottle of Zinfandel by then but I'll be tuned in.
