And I guess we don't really see that much in the UK, Sen. Some time back, I was talking to brother in Oz about some cyclone (Debbie?) and the possible effects of flooding where he was. I mentioned the Llandudno 1993 flood which gave about 6 inches of water in three hours, completely overwhelming the system. And he says that sort of "cloudburst" is not that uncommon in his part of Queensland. And of course that's not thinking of scale of area... He was OK with the cyclone btw. I think he was shut in for a few days and his drive joined a creek, forming part of a "raging torrent" but that was about it.
