Well I am in the UK, so I have no particular dog in this fight, but I think the contrast between Dr. Ford's testimony and Judge Kavanaugh's was stark. Dr. Ford was honest if at times uncertain, and told the truth as best she could. The tribute to her from Kamala Harris was powerful and I agree with every word of what she said. Judge Kavanaugh's testimony reeked of male entitlement. Not republican, not white, but male. It is as a male he feels that he is entitled to do what he likes regarding Dr. Ford, including have powerful friends besmirch her name. My view is that whether he sexually assaulted Dr. Ford or not, the aggressive manner in which he delivered his testimony, his evasiveness (again when questioned by Kamala Harris), and the fact that he has clearly primed Trump to attack Dr. Ford on his behalf, makes him unfit for any office, let alone a public one. Kamala Harris on the other hand is hugely impressive. Calm and forensic questioning, impassioned defence of someone whose name is being besmirched.
