A reminder of forthcoming sessions around the Penrith area of north Cumbria in the coming week. We will no doubt be remembering the centenary of the ending of the First World War in music and song, in particular on Armistice Sunday itself. Sunday 4th November Old Crown, Hesket Newmarket (Community owned pub, and home of the Hesket Newmarket brewery) from about 8.30pm Monday 5th November Dockray Hall (formerly the Duke of Gloucester), Great Dockray, Penrith. from about 8.30pm Sunday 11th November The Black Swan, Culgaith From 6.00pm to 9.00pm (note early start)
