I'm with Joe o this I used to enjoy Bonfire Night as a child - I never realised the Catholic connection until later in life - it was a harmless street get-together - literally - the council used to have to re-tar our street every year Things seemed to have changed so much as to make them undesirable In some places they have become a symbol of HATRED AND SECTARIANISM Mind you, if we could manage to get Trump to...... nah- he'd never volunteer Jim Carroll
