The whole thing started when I Played a benefit gig to help out the widow of a local musician who died of liver cancer unexpectedly. It was a cold night and a cheap garage and the door was open to The chill, and I had to stand around for several hours before it came our turn to perform. By then it had gotten ipretty late, and when we started into our first number couple of the local drunks took severe exception each other and started trying to eradicate each other‘s physical presence by the use of force. Fortunately, they got a hold of before they could cause any further disruption. But by the time I got home I was chilled to the bone and started having fevers and chills the next day.
