Definitely from the potteries Dave(Acorn4): I used to go to their folk club in the Kings Arms, Stoke when they were running it with others from Muggins Fancy. I seem to remember Jeff said that, although they were always asked which one was His Worship, their name actually came from some story about a mayor of Stoke and a pig (not the same as the one about a prime minister and a pig!) - but then you never knew what to believe from him and Dave. |
