We did try to get there but the combination of a road closure and no diversion signs meant we ended up stuck for ages. on single track roads with a lot of other people with the same idea. In the end we gave up and turned for home. Not the first time recently that traffic management has failed dismally in the area when faced with road closures. Farmed out to private companies again.
