I think it's lovely that you helped someone Donuel. And the good feeling you received is lovely too. If I'm in a rather sad mood, I find little tiny 'good deeds' lift my spirits no end. My husband is like this too. He springs forward to help elderly frail folk at the supermarket wheel their trolley to their car and to load the bags into the boot for them. He adores helping old people. We bought a hot cup of coffee for a Big issue seller last winter, just a small gesture but she looked so cold. It's strange, but it made us so happy just to think of her warming her hands up on the cup. Lots of folk do this and it's natural. And people in our village are extremely kind. They come trooping to our door with stuff (T shirts, towels, sheets, jeans etc) for my husband's family when he's due to travel home for a visit. Imagine a world where none of these things ever happened. Grim.
