There's also a Quincy, Florida. It's near Tallahassee, on US 90, which was the primary east/west highway before Interstate 10 was built. It's one of those towns that sorta died when the Interstate was routed just a few too many miles away. Nowadays, hardly anyone goes there unless a major traffic accident on I-10 forces them to detour through the place. It's so dull and uninteresting that there are no known clever quips or anecdotes about it, and I'm not going to invent one. It just isn't worth the effort. I'm not sure if the people there pronounce "Quincy" in some idiosyncratic fashion, but I doubt it. Imagination is not exactly their strong suit.
