I have always known what Braintree meant. Even the first time I encountered the word. A braintree is sort of like an oak only smaller, with cauliflower clusters growing all over it which look like brains. I thought everyone knew that, but I guess I was wrong; evidently it is not a widely known literary secret. Live and learn! |
