Then, on the other end of the car, the vast majority of headlight modules on late model passenger cars look like different takes on birds' wings;

Here's an example: Hyundai Elantra headlight.

Looks just like a bird;s wing, doesn't it? And 90% of recent model year cars on the road have something similar.
