Can't claim friendship, but definitely a fan. During a couple of Getaway weekends I watched him being a steady presence of song, kindness, fun - a person you just enjoyed being around, even if you didn't know him well.
My heartfelt good wishes to Amos and his loved ones. It is so important to let people know how valuable they are while they can appreciate it. I feel fortunate to have met him, heard him sing, chat a bit. Give him folkie love from Cleveland, please.
