You should contact Mary Dailey, a singer songwriter in the Shepherdstown WV area who is another of Carol C's friends. I occasionally play back-up to Mary and on Annachi she uses a C/Am chord progression with capo on the fifth fret (key of F) while I use what is called locally a "Hangnail D" progression two frets down (keeping a little finger on the fifth fret in your D and A chords with a doubling on the third fret on the B and E strings on the open G chord (leave the Bm as the home chord and use the "Hangnail A" as resolution). She plays steel while I play a wrapped G nylon (Vanguards from GHS - great strings for for folk, a little percussive for classical). The over all effect is sort of steel lute sound that works well with Mary's voice (what I call Lost Soul Appalachian). Mary has all the words and chords, although she is not "happy fingers" on computers. Maybe Carol C can input them when she gets back from Canada. Good Luck!
