I do not see any mention on mudcat of the year, or even the decade, in which Utah Phillips wrote his "Orphan Train." Jody and Kate's liner notes do not give any date. I expect it had to be no earlier than the 60's as the reunions apparently began then, and Utah bumped into survivors at a picnic. Does anyone have more specifics?
