Getting back to "orchestral exercise", I've been listening lately to Kenneth McKellar singing arias...he was magnificent, his faultless voice augmented the finest orchestral work......But the so called folk singers who use the current orchestral device have a really limited vocal range or even a limited level of musicianship. The two genres simply do not fit together, folk music is not about perfection, it is about connection and inclusivity. We are losing the place.
