My vote would be for "Lass of Glenshee" - a lovely, incredibly NON-typical Scottish song - no rape, no murder, no revenge, no war, no death, just a "I'm going to love you no matter what" carried on through years. Wild Mountain Thyme, definitely. Went YIKES when someone mentioned Matty Groves - is there another version that doesn't include adultery and bloody murder???? Joanne in Cleveland
