I believe the guitar actually belonged to John Lee Hooker. _____________________________________________________________________ I read that when the photographer, Burt Goldblatt, asked Muddy to pose for a picture right after he came off stage and, since he'd already put the red Tele in its case, he borrowed John Lee's archtop for the photo.
