I just ran across a verse to "The Smugglers Chanty" from a book on the Prohibition Era: From PROHIBITION –Thirteen Years that Changed America, edited by Edward Behr The Smugglers' Chanty Oh, we don’t give a damn for our old Uncle Sam, Way-o, whiskey and gin! Lend us a hand when we stand in to land, Just give us time to run the rum in. It would be nice to find the rest of this song. This song doesn't seem related to anything here in the Digital Archives.
