Elsewhere he declares, "By reviving talk of a hard border, Brexit was a huge opportunity... gives it focus, gives it a physical picture. It’s a huge help'."

But hey. Who cares, right? As long as it's not YOU who has to live with the danger and mutilation and loss and heartbreak.
