Last year on our trip to Canada I had some really nice and interesting salads, the details of most of which have flown out of my head now (blame the severe hay fever which has me in its grippe) but which I enjoyed at the time. I like the idea of tossing some fruit and/or nuts - cranberries, walnuts etc. - into a salad. Stuff I do not eat are tomatoes and cucumbers, and I'm not fond of more than one tiny sliver of raw onion. Red capsicum is my friend but green is not; if I eat green for lunch (ditto cucumber) it will come back to haunt me all day. Lurve olives, quite like avocados. Don't like heavy dressings.
