The Dragon Folk Club was started at the end of May 1969, at The Lamb pub in Iron Acton, which is near Bristol, UK. Since 1995, with just one year elsewhere, we have been meeting almost every Friday at The Bridge Inn, Shortwood, Bristol, UK, BS16 9NG. Since 2013 we have been recording details of our sessions in our popular blog. From this Friday, 31 May 2019, and every Friday through to 28 June, we are celebrating our half century with what we hope will be some special sessions. As always, everyone is welcome, whether to perform or just listen but we would particularly like to welcome people who have been regulars (or irregulars) at the club in the past. Perhaps you would like to sing some songs you performed many years ago at the club? That would be great. We would love you to join us for this special season with all the usual benefits of Free Entry, a Cheap Bar and Great Acoustics. If you can join us for one or more of these sessions perhaps you could leave a message to indicate when you might come; perhaps it will serve to encourage some others? See you there!
