Just retourned home on thé 8th from a very enjoyable 14 day group tour all over Western Europe. Sat down for a bit to catch up on computer. Suddenly very tender around one eye; looked in the mirror and it looked about like a chicken about to hatch. Local ER sent me a few miles to one with more relevant docs. Multiple consultations. just had a biopsy of the temporal artery. Have had some intervenous steroids which have calmed things down, but they all agree they needed to check for an inflammatory condition which might call for aggressive treatment to keep my vision safe. I’m not panicking, but I’m concerned. Dean
