Doesn't sound like trad lyrics to me- as I said it was allegedly written in 1958- Maybe FOR Jimmy Rodgers or maybe not, but I think the words would be long-forgotten but for the pop hit?- it's a bit younger than Scarborough Fair, I'd say. No criticism intended but the terms trad & folk are often applied without any real justification....
