Here we are then nearly into August and no complaints yet about WFW and I am not about to change that.

Glaisdale Session 18th August 2019

For the last goodness knows how many years there has been a song session at Glaisdale on the Sunday of Whitby Folk Week with an invitation to travel by train if you fancy a beer or two. This was initially to get away from the Regatta on the weekends they chose to share their dates with Folk Week. No overlap this year but it is an interesting train journey and all are welcome.

I am not sure how but the mantle passed to me last year and so the invite is here.

The Arncliffe does an excellent range of good wholesome food and keeps a good cellar.

We should hope to start the session about 1:30pm and go round the room. There is usually a natural break mid session.
