Bahamas Dorian Blues (Larry W Jones 09/03/2019) (song #7592) Dorian blew in from the east Turned bright blue skies as dark as night Hurricane winds that would not cease Brought trouble in the Bahamas alright When I got up that blue morning Water was coming in my front door Thought I’d seen my share of trouble But Dorian brought trouble more I got into my old row boat Paddled over to Como Hill Then I looked down on my old house While Dorian was blowing still It thundered and the lightning struck And the hurricane went so slow Dorian left us in the muck And now we’ve got no place to go Dorian blew in from the east Turned bright blue skies as dark as night Hurricane winds that would not cease Brought trouble in the Bahamas alright
