As far as I can see the only confusion is you taking my quote as the original posting of the question. And ofcourse the identity of the anonymous Guest(s). And I am indeed the same person mentioned on the sites you mention. But, to get back to the original question,I think we have safely established there are in deed festivals in Ireland dedicated to female players: the Nell Galvin festival in Moyasta (now sharing the dedication as the Galvin/Crotty weekend for their deceased committee member Peadar Crotty) and the now defunct Mrs Crotty weekend in Kilrush (replaced by the Kilrush set dancing weekend) and in The UK the new Julia Clifford one.
