i finally felt able to read this thread today. thank you for sharing your memories. he spoke little about dying but did say to me one day, 'I've played JOD at so many funerals Kate, i wonder who will do it at mine? it was John Richards and Phil Beer, we printed the words so everyone could join in. i am hoping to publish an illustrated book of Bills best loved songs songs next year. its my way to honour and remember.
