If coming to the 2019 Getaway, please bring something to donate to the silent auction, and also bring cash or a checkbook so that you can bid on some desired or interesting object, CD or book in the auction. The auction is a significant source of funds for the Getaway Scholarship fund. Many folks have had to avail themselves of scholarships in order to attend, me included, over the years. The Getaway would have been much poorer in fellowship and shared music if some of those folks had not been able to attend.
