My reaction to all the "me too" stuff was "this is NORMAL. Every woman has had those experiences, and we get past them."

And then, I thought "WHAT!!?? Why?"

It's another case of things that were considered unremarkable in the past, but then, the world changed. It WAS that way. Now it's not. And unfortunately, 1) some people can't adapt, and 2) some other people judge the past by what's right today.

At the bottom of it all is a failure to acknowledge and accept change.
