Interesting idea, there is, to move to a single time for the whole world. Eliminate the zones entirely. Washington Post Independent - UK New York Times - Opinion Other than the above idea, which I'd vote for, I would as an interim measure put Alaska on permanent Daylight Savings Time, and most Alaskans would, too.
