I suppose it depends on what instrument, and where you're looking. Anyway - how many virtuosi do we need? I think its sad there isn't more cross fertilisation. I've seen loads of jazz bands and folk bands who could do with a kick up the ass from a George Formby type uke. The Formby fans just seem to do Formby stuff and are content at that.
