We can hear the locos arriving at Rawtenstall from our house when the wind is in the right direction. Also, for the past few years, we have performed up and down the line with Wrigley Head Morris Men on the occasion of the weekend closest to Lancashire day. If there is an interesting visiting loco I usually go down to take a few photos (and frequently run into Dave Howard from the Tinkers doing the same thing). Robin
