What's unique about 02/02/2020 is that it's a palindrome in all four date notation formats. It doesn't matter if you use dd/mm/yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, yyyy/dd/mm, or yyyy/mm/dd. Next year, there'll be a palindrome date (12/02/2021) but it will indicate December 2nd in mm/dd/yyyy and February 12th in dd/mm/yyyy, and doesn't work in either year-first format. The next "universal" palindrome date will be 03/03/3030. I don't plan on being around to see it.
