America is for the rich, as if you couldn't tell,
Our government works for the rich, the rest can go to Hell,
Good healthcare is for the rich and I ain't feelin' well,
There's corruption in the capital, a stench that you can smell.

If your mama was a Mexican then Trump won't have you here,
If your father practiced Islam then Trump won't have you here,
If you're L or G or B or T then Trump won't have you near,
It's homogenized conformity that keeps you in the clear.

Compassion truth and fair play have come under attack,
I think that it's about time we took our country back,
So never vote for anyone who's got a superpac,
And if the tax cut's only for the rich, give them bums the sack.

If a program helps the suffering, it's going to get the sack,
There is viciousness in politics that goes right to the top,
If they don't like a question, they give the questioner a pop,
But you and I know what do, to make this madness stop.

If your machine is out of whack, you give it one big thump,
If you're going to drain the DC swamp, you'll need a mighty pump,
If you want to make this county great again, first get rid of Trump,
And take those others of his ilk and send them to the dump.

Do you suppose the one per cent react with glee and mirth,
While they're making obscene fortunes from the rape of mother earth,
They,ve been greedy piglets from the moment of their birth,
Nothing matters to them but their personal net worth.

And they're making filthy lucre off the backs of the working poor,
They think that's what us commoners were put on this Earth for,
No matter how much wealth accrued, they think that they need more,
Why if there's a dollar to be made, they'll even stat a war.

Koch brothers and Walton's and Haliburton too,
They think they own the government, and I suppose they do,
But we need to take it back from them and tell them they are through,
Cause Woody taught me that this land was made for me and you.
