Yes keberoxu, the bushfires have been under control for a while now, then we had some good rain which helped with the years-long drought and started to fill up the water supplies but then some of the areas had floods. So some good news, some not so good, but even with the floods people were so happy to see the rain, which also helped to put out some of the fires and deposits silt onto the parched land. Every cloud has a silver lining. Experiencing the Australian outback has been inspirational for me, so that is the flipside to not having seen snow falling.
