Well I am one of the NYPFMC members in Jackson Heights, so nice to meet you Mary. Get in touch jerepst@att.net If you come to a concert, I can probably give you a ride home. There certainly are a bunch of us in Jackson Heights. Used to be a couple more, two have passed on in recent years.

NYPFMC has no official, legal connection with Pinewoods Camp, but it was founded by people who had been to the camp (including myself) in 1965 and takes its name from the Camp. We were part of the headquarters operation of COuntry Dance & Song Society (which runs the week at Pinewoods Camp) until CDSS moved out of NYC in the early 1980's. We remain a Center of CDSS.
