Yes, I was wondering about those six years that the Corries "lasted" 1962 until 1990 Never really bothered with touring or performing outside of Scotland by choice according to Ronnie Brown, although if anyone wants to verify that they could easily consult his book. I only sing songs that I like. First thing is that I have to like the melody Second is that the song has got to be about something, it has to tell a story. After I have learned the song, I then take great pleasure in finding out as much as I can about it, but that part of it is purely for personal interest.
