Yes, I did try a ring around for maintaining the tradition of the Easter morning hymn sing at the National Folk Festival in some form. Sorry I couldn't connect, JennyG. And I couldn't find my contact for Hrothgar. Did see a bit on the box, but nothing matched the best sing at the National. I also caught a bit of the papal Mass in St Peters, eerily empty but great to see the whole floor! The service and singing did seem curiously joyless though, until I realised it was only Easter Saturday there. Unexpected entertainment from the onscreen text - 'helloed be thy name', 'reason' for risen, and 'internal' for eternal life.
