Mom, I tried to tell you of my parboiling discovery yesterday but somehow it didn't take. So anyway, I want to parboil a couple peppers (emptied, of course) to make stuffed peppers. But instead of parboiling them (I didn't have time) I put them in a (microwave safe) pan with about an inch of water in it. Nuked 'em for about 2 minutes, turned 'em over and nuked 'em for about 90 more seconds. Took 'em out, dumped the water, put the shells back in, filled 'em with the filling, and baked 'em for 20 minutes. Tasted good.
