The Stratford Festival has suspended its 2020 season, so life as we knew it in this town of summer tourism will not return to normal for a very long time. The virus will probably kill off most if not all the fancy restaurants that exist primarily because of theatre-related tourism -- we know which ones they are because they close in winter. Without tourism, this little town doesn't need all the hotels and bed-and-breakfast joints, either. The new normal won't be like the old normal.
