The Indiglo feature on my bedside alarm clock is a nice bonus,
but that isn't why I bought it --

I chose that brand because the clock does not go tick-tock,
a sound that keeps me awake at night.
The second hand, instead, has some sort of sweep mechanism
and the sound is more like a gentle hum
than that god-awful tapping sixty times a minute.
I'll have to look to see what brand it is
