Former CDC Intel Officer Dr. Rishi Desai on Why It's Hard to Get a Grip on the Coronavirus Pandemic It is 50 minutes long, but one thing caught my attention. The doc was saying the virus, when it finds its way to the bloodstream, results in a reduced ability for the blood to transport oxygen. Which supports the contention I have seen elsewhere (and posted here) that ventilating, per se, is not that effective. And Sir Peter Piot (formost authority on pandemics!) has done videos on the effects of the virus that he has only just got through, er still recovering! He tells of kidney damage, lack of strength, and more. When you put it together with the lack of oxygen in the blood, - organ damage is understandable. Peter Piot is saying "You don't want this disease". I believe him, I believe him!
