Was going to make soup with ground yak and all the veg I still had a little of (tail end of cabbage, last brussels sprouts, handful of spinach, half an onion, last garlic cloves of the head) so I melted some butter with paprika-marjoram-oregano (my current go-to trio), a little white wine and some chicken broth, but I forgot the yak and made a marvy veg soup. Seriously yum. With the end of the sour cream. I now have a lot of room in my fridge! My freezer, on the other hand, is bursting at the seams. I have apparently narrowed my hoarding to just there. I have got to stay away from the farmers' markets for a while!
