Interesting Dick,yet another name for the tune,looking at youtube some musicians do call the tune The Seige of Ennis,but dance bands seem to use a variety of tunes for the dance of the same name. Perhaps that name became associated with tune because some band or musican used it for the existing dance and it stuck because they knew no other name.It reminds me of the saying God has a thousand names,one which is known only to the Camel
