You may remember the course of action that Catherine Calderwood, Chief Medical Officer of Scotland, took when she flouted the guidelines. Cummings was in a household with an infection person, was beginning to show signs of infection himself, and chose to drive 260 miles to the home of elderly people. Just how much rope does it take.
