I have no reason to want you not to draw young people attention to MacColl writings. He wrote some of the finest FOLK songs that are sung today, and hopefully will be sung for years to come.

What I do object to is your damned near deification of the man. His shit stank, he couldn't pee straight just like the rest of us but you treat him like some kind of god at the same time as you deny his estate income that should be theirs.

I will say this again so you are quite clear. Despite your "deification" and your professed undying admiration of him you are quite happy to give his material away, material that his family have every right to expect the income from.
