Capitalism is a system based on fostering and encouraging a natural greed that is instinctive in most No it isn't. That may be the result but capitalism is a system that concentrates on the private sector and profit while socialism concentrates on the the state and welfare of the people. The obvious choice for anyone that cares is the latter but, to date, no system has as yet managed to overcome all the issues. There is now another factor. Both private industry and the state are squandering natural resources at a rate that cannot be sustained. When all the resources are spent or when the climate cannot maintain human life, petty political differences will matter not one jot. It's time to compromise and all work together.
